John, <<A voyage of self discovery, essentially.>> I like that, a great way of looking at it. I would hate to tell you how much money I lost in my early market zeal. I now reflect on it as my entrance fee. There was a point where I even doubted if anyone other than the brokerages made money in the market. The biggest thing I learned investing in speculative stocks is to diversify. All it takes is one to pay off. The rest of the speculatives can then go belly up for all I care. There was no way that anyone could tell me about diversification, I had to painfully learn for myself. Good luck with SSO, nice solid safe investment IMO!
