T.R., I just got back from ole Miss. Memphis, Tenn. is about 35 miles away and is the closest large town. Tunica is a small town. The casinos are in buildings and not on the river. Horseshoe, Sam's Town, Bally's, Sheraton, Hollywood, Gold Strike, Grand, Fitzgerald's, that's all I can think of off hand. We usually stay at Fitzgerald's or Sam's Town. Rates for rooms are normally around $39 Sunday thru Thursday night. $79 to $89 or more on weekends. Open all the time, rain or shine. We really like the people working there, everyone is really friendly. Good Luck.
