Maybe not. The proxies were counted but not announced until the meeting, yesterday. Up till that point it was all 'smiles' and 'knowing-nods' and 'secret-handshakes' between the BOD and the Amber Arbitrage boys. I'll just bet the BOD had big BIG smiles and smirks and probably a few guffaws when the auditor announced how the vote went. Amber probably left the room quickly, talking to their attorneys as they walked out. JTS is going to blow in the breeze a while, waiting to hear what Amber is going to do next. Meantime, JTS has to dress up the balance sheet to keep from getting kicked off of the AMEX trading floor. That conversion money might just make the difference.... I wonder who is going to get the last laugh, here. How do you think the 'good ole boys' at NationsBank will take to a 'delisting'? Maybe they put the spike into giving Amber the power to call meetings.... Oh, this is just my wild speculations.... I own enough of the common to be allowed to make some every now and again... ;-) Ben A.
