Brown and Goldman Sachs cut earnings estimates on Silicon Graphics Inc. for the third quarter ending March 31 following the company's warning of a substantial quarterly loss, market sources familiar with the actions said Friday. -- Goldman Sachs cut Q3 estimate to loss $0.38 from old estimate of loss $0.05.
