Anyone who tries to contradict me on this is wrong. I will not engage in a debate, so save your typing for someone who cares.
Not to contradict your obviously well-thought-out formula, but what exactly does fair value have to do with this market? It takes a real genius to stroll into an SI forum during such a rampant bull market and pronounce that "XYZ is overvalued." Yeah, and the Sun is hot. So? You wanna short some overvalued concerns? Buy some INTC and MSFT; everybody's doin' it.
Wanna make some money the old fashioned way? LU, AAPL, ORCL. Catch the train now or choke on coal smoke.
I do, however, think that Adobe could stand to make some sort of corporate announcement (other than an earnings statement) that lays out their strategy for the coming quarters. An alliance or acquisition would be nice, but new product cycles just aren't going to cut it after today. The announcement of a stock buyback, for example, really helped strengthen Adobe's foundation.
Long ADBE by choice, not circumstance.

P.S. -- You might consider that your unwillingness to engage in a debate (or even conversation) regarding your views on ADBE stock goes against the very spirit of an investment (or just about any) bulletin board. Posting your opinion and then saying, "don't bother to respond, 'cause I don't care," is disrespectful to the knowledgeable people who come here to share their insight and gain the insight of others. It also, of course, obviates your presence here at all. |
