Global Water Technologies Extends Expiration of Outstanding Common
Stock Warrants

GOLDEN, Colo., March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Water Technologies, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: GWTR - news)
announced today that it has extended the publicly- held Class A and Class B Warrants to April 14, 1999. The Warrants were
to expire on April 14, 1998.

''The warrants were created to give the original shareholders of Global Water Technologies an additional way to take part in
the growth of the company,'' stated George Kast, Chairman and CEO. Kast went on to say, ''The Warrants provide our
shareholders with a cost effective approach to increasing their ownership stake in the Company. As a result, both the Company
and our shareholders benefit.''

There are 8,042,500 Class A publicly traded warrants exercisable at 12 cents per share and 8,042,500 Class B publicly
traded warrants exercisable at 20 cents per share.

On another matter, GWTR also announced that it has allowed the agreement with Dennis Johnson, Alpha/Omega
Environmental, Inc. and Aqua-Asia to expire. Kast said that GWTR was pursuing alternate technologies with various
organizations to provide clean water and better control over biological hazards such as legionella and improve ''sick building
syndrome.''

Global Water Technologies, through its subsidiary Psychrometric Systems, Inc., provides process cooling water primarily
through the design, engineering and construction of cooling towers to industrial and manufacturing clients worldwide. Also,
through its recently formed Advanced Oxidation Technologies, Inc., subsidiary, the company will provide customers with
proprietary non- chemical, water treatment systems designed to meet the growing need for environmentally sound water
purification and reclamation worldwide.
