Rocky has many valid arguments. What a smart investor should do now is to get out of the stock since there is so much downside risk and no signs of any upward momentum. If you are excited about the stock, wait it out with a buy-stop order! That is, sell now, let the stock settle, and put a buy-stop order at 8 1/8 and wait. If it falls further, you haven't lost anything, but if it climbs back above 8, you are back in the stock and riding it up. Meanwhile, you are sleeping soundly.
