I never realized the Newtons were so powerful. Didn't even think they had much/any hard drive
capacity. I'm impressed. Maybe we all need one. Now I'm sorry Apple discontinued them.

Linda

Linda,
I own a Newton and it's the best piece of technology that I own. I had to send it in for a week to be upgraded, and I was lost without it. I use it to organize and manage my business spreadsheets, read email, schedule and remind me of appointments, keep hundreds of phone records, etc. Also surf the web with it when away from my desktop. It's a shame they had to discontinue it when they finally had gotten it right, but it made sense from a business perspective (given where the company is). If you can pick one up, you should buy it. Some developers have pledged to continue supporting it, and with a few add-on programs, it already has what you would need for the next few years.
