As I recall the keepered media requires a small electrical charge. So the removable media would require an electrical contact somewhere. Not a big problem but some additional expence and possible glitchs. I think it will be on hard drives first. People hope that Iomega is one of the first to go with keepered media because it would push the stock up faster than Seagate and WDC.
