Steve,the big boys have made thier money on DELL, CPQ,GATE,IBM,and are starting to sell big blocks .All that will be left are the momentum geeks,funddumbs,and people that believe in this phony PC boom. INTC lower prices on chips so everbody loaded up early.You should wait to buy your PCs you will be able to get them a lot cheaper when these companies find they have another inventory glut.This is a blessing in disguise (sp) for me because for a moment there I thought my jan's were dead meat.Even Western Digital got into the act (speaking of dead meat).
