It's a retirement account, not a slush fund!!!!!!!! Yes you can trade it, no options or real estate, just listed stock. Open a newspaper and read the business section for once, it has been talked about for months. With that kind of question no wonder there are restrictions on trading IRA's. I guess some people are doomed to piss it away, have fun on social security.
