Hi all, Just want to share with you my own experience regarding my attempt to pick up more shares of DGIV today: I wanted to buy more DGIV shares this AM to add to my DGIV holding.(I thought good news would come soon after Mr.Chin comes back from Indonesia but did not expect the news to be released this AM, which forced me to do some fancy stock moves to free up some cash). Initially I placed an order to buy at 1.28, then 1.30, then 1.38 and was unable to pick up ANY share (my order was for 17,OOO shares). Finally, I was able to get 1 K filled at 1 7/16 and the rest at 1.53. By the way, I am not at all unhappy since I am INVESTING in this company, fully expecting it to really move up with pending good news. I am actually happy I was able to add to my total DGIV holding today and not have to take a chance on next week, since who knows where it is going to be at that time! The strong finish is a REALLY BULLISH sign! My point is: if the "imminent" good news do materialize, where would the MMs get the shares to sell? I (and I am sure others) have already experienced what a shortage of shares due to a small float can really do to the share price! It is my opinion only, of course, but hang on to your shares since they are indeed a valuable commodity! Another thing: out of the thousand of BB/OTC stocks in the 1-2 dollar range out there, how many have REAL revenues and pending contracts like DGIV? Add to it a CEO who is a "closer", an IR department who is responsive to the investors (how many IRs actually get on SI to answer people's questions), a HOT sector .....and a lively SI thread (thanks, Byron and others, of course), and you have a real winner. Good luck to all investors!!! |
