Duane and others: The SOX Index was basically upchanged with only 6 of the 16 components higher today. LSI and AMD (+1 5/16 I believe) were the only two components up more than 1 dollar today. IMHO LSI was showing strength today on its own without any help from the semi sector. With the heavy volume today I suspect that institutional buying was present. I don't think the institutions would be in buying today if they were not comfortable with the qtr about to end ( most everyone long LSI for the past year has been burned at least once to often already).
