I am very disappointed and angry at management for how this was handled. Two days ago shareholders were still being assured everything was on track for Mar. 31 at the latest. I'm not saying Sabrina was lying, maybe she wasn't told. But we've been told that all samples had been completed and they needed more time to put the report together. In today's release, not only is there the delay, but it is clearly stated that more samples are needed. There is no way somebody in management couldn't have known prior to Wednesday that the report wouldn't be ready. Mr. Metals, you stated in a Wednesday post that the report would be out in 3-4 weeks. You knew, and I thank you for letting us know, subtle as it was. The feeling I've had from the current management, until today, is that they were different from a regular junior mining play ( okay, okay, I've still got some of that 60's idealism ). They kind of had a family of shareholders and were careful to not mistreat them. I've made some great cyber-friends through this thread. But this management damaged their integrity today. Solid, long-term investors, which any junior needs, have been shaken again. And this after the great hype, well-managed, that gave renewed hope post-Bre-X to new and old shareholders alike. I've been in this for over a year. I sold all my shares today, making a small profit, and told others to do the same because I think we're going to single digits again ( 8 cents Eric ). A lot of people got home tonight to discover a 30% drop in their investment. They may try to get some profits Monday morning while they still have some regardless of the damage control and spins put out this weekend. I pray this management doesn't start to act like the typical junior, full of hype, creating expectations with shareholders and then lacking the ability, competency and/or integrity to follow through. I want to buy this again and believe. 500,000 proven isn't enough based on the expectations they've created, so they've got a lot to prove. Either prove it all or be up front and change the expectations. |
