With all due respect, I think Cramer is more full of it than a Thanksgiving turkey. I would certainly include him on a Top Ten list of promising sites for natural gas drilling.
Seriously, since this guy's thing is trading from both the long and the short side, I think it is worth considering the source and the possibility that he is trying to talk them down.
I like stocks with catalysts. I like stocks with higher earnings ahead. Oil-related doesn't have other right now.
I would imagine if you wanted a catalyst to trigger renewed earnings and price appreciation for drilling companies, an agreement to limit production and firm oil prices might do the trick, particularly since low oil prices have been the only negative anyone has been able to drag up on these companies for as long as I've been around. But perhaps Cramer is living on some other planet where conditions are different.
