I'm out of Sunw now and just watching though below 38 I may get back in. I just looked at sunw's chart again. It's not too pretty and those of you into TA should be concerned. Sunw really hasn't done much for a year now, and the fact that it couldn't make a new all time high in its last run at 50 gives it the beginnings of a descending staircase pattern. It's way too early to say this is the beginning of a waterfall pattern a la Netscape but technically there is some risk here. Just as Java may be MSFT's achilles heel, so is Unix Sunw's achilles heel but I don't really see sunw doing anything about it. Apparently they are going to try to live with an antique operating system as the y2k approaches. I think the TA analysis suggests that it is time sunw gets some new leadership, someone with some new ideas and visions. Good luck, sun owners. For the first time in the nineties, I think you may need it.
