Snake, don't be so defensive. Whether the details of what you say are true or not, we all know that the gist of it *must* be true - MPRS will have to face the music sooner or later, and probably sooner.

I don't see such a stigma with a reverse split. About the worst of it is that shorting will be possible again, and selling will be psychologically easier for the traders. But come Xmas 1998, this company will sink or swim on fundamentals - games sold and $$$ earned.

I do see one positive about it - one less uncertainty will be gone. As I've said before, uncertainty = perceived risk = lower stock price.

So I've decided to hold. Call me nuts. I just can't walk away from the craps table. I figure that all the bad news is out, and my chances of doubling from here are higher than my downside.

I also think that the fundamental reason why I bought into SBYT originally are even stronger today: a flood of cheap 200+ Mhz MMX machines in every home running Quicken, MSFT Word, and a half-dozen high-quality games.

Now at least one of them better be from MicroProse.
