The first AskxBid prices this morning: 26 5/8 x 26 9/16

Well, it's still too early to say, but looks pretty stable.

The steadiness or in technical terms stationarity is exactly what's bothering me. My TA method considers these time series properties of the data. One of the things I look at is this aspect. In the recent short-run time frame the series has become stationary rather than a random walk. Stationary series are series that tend to revert to the mean rather than move in a random walk pattern. I have found that in the past Apple (and other stocks) tend to collapse soon after (days or weeks) becoming stationary. At the least they stop going anywhere. Sometimes the indicator is wrong but more times it is right.
