Good advice. I probably will call the company as I have often done with other stocks. I simply think that those who have already established a long term rapport with the spokespeople there would be more likely to get more information.
As for frustration levels, I abandoned those long ago. The nervous types rarely make good traders. From a practical standpoint however, never underestimate the shallowness of the street. When you have a great story to tell, it's incumbent upon your PR people to get that story out. Sun Microsystems is the past master at cranking stuff out even when there's is nothing to crank out.
While I'm aware that there have been a number of past press releases, my initial points remain...TAVA needs to be associated with Y2k remediation in the national press more often and we need to see proof of the next step, ie, pilots to contracts.
As for the timing of my concerns with the drop in price, I've found it wise to never take anything in the market for granted. Any corrections (and I believe the last couple of sessions were, indeed, only corrections) must be viewed as possible harbingers of something more serious and dealt with accordingly.
In closing, I'll do what you suggested Stuart. I'll call the company and report back. Just because I express concerns doesn't mean I don't love TAVA!
