Irby, I can only respond for Maverick. Our site has the highest level of security using DES encryption (so that's not the problem). We also use BGP4 routing technology, (also best in the industry). No misrepresentation on our part. I guess it may fit in the lack of documentation category. The SEC has to approve all forms of advertising. Once the add (web site) is received with a hefty check $$$ they tell me it will be a ten day process before it is approved. There are so many new web sites coming on that they have a backlog and the process is taking longer than anticipated. I hope that this explains it. I'm not a broker so I'm only passing on information that I received from the Brokerage.
