Terry: My point re: Social Security was that it will be a hard sell unless the stock market keeps booming. But once legislation is passed allowing people to put some of their social security money into stocks -- that will be the time to "sell the news." The likely "social security rally" could well mark the final top BTW one of the hallmarks of these crazy times is that ideas considered completely off the wall a generation ago are now widely accepted. Putting social security money into the market after the biggest bull run in history is so absurd that it boggles the imagination. But it will probably happen. And under a Democratic President too.
