Now there is a Japanese magazine called "Digital Camera." As the name says, the magazine is about digital cameras. Yes, digital cameras only. I take it as a sign of new era as "PC Magazine" and "Byte" magazine heralded a new era of PCs. As Peter Lynch said "Do not bet on which side will win the war. Invest in the company that sells bullets to the war." In this upcoming bloody battle of digital cameras, SanDisk is the the bullet vendor. The war on Digital Cameras will be intense because, unlike traditional cameras, it will follow the path of computers where features improve while price goes down. Because it is almost entirely electronics, the price will drop dramatically ahead of anyone's analysis and the demand will shoot up accordingly. And as the image quality improves, which takes both depth and resolution, it will take more and more memory to store the image. I expect SanDisk's shart to resemble that of Dell or Compaq in five year span. James Choi
