While this may be true, it has nothing to do with what actually goes on in stores. On cold days, there is usually a rush for supplies to deal with the problem. One of these supplies is cold remedies, cough drops, etc. As we all know, people do not buy according to what is rational. A sudden change in weather can bring out the hypochondriac in a LOT of people.
