Hi Chris,

Think that was a good call to take some profits off on MER.

Something I have noticed during this run-up concerning technical analysis. My short-term analysis which has been giving me many sell signals have been distorted. I went to the conventional style of analysis of trendlines, stochastics, rsi etc and noticed many breakout signals which worked in the recent past.

I am getting signals that my short-term analysis is starting to get back to some normality.

This is the time to be cautious. The bull-trend is still intact but the market is starting to slow down. This was the first negative week for the DOW since this rally started. It appears that it is about to take a little technical rest.
