Tax selling a good idea, but I already have a carry forward. Anything additional just generates broker commissions. Sooner or later I'm going to dump this dog. The trouble is, in the past, the day after I finnally dump something it jumps a point or two. I just dumped HMS at 7 7/8 and in the next two weeks it moved to 9 1/2. Likewise I decided to move out of Pep Boys into CYRX around the 23 of Dec 1995. Cyrx immediately announced they would write off their 486 chips and tanked from 26 to 22. This was the next day! Anyone who makes the contrarian play to some of my moves could make some real $. I bought IBM at 45 held to 53 got greedy and sold 50 calls The stock was called away. I was afraid to get back in! My original intention was to ride IBM from the 45 level to the 70+ area. So, if I sell NOVL, I'm sure the next day IBM or HP or some other suitor will make an offer and the stock will double. Is this hell or what?
