To all: IOM, share price and earnings.
I have been reading this thread from time to time and sometimes
contributing. I guess I was hoping that I would here something
to convince me that I was not screwing up by holding this stock. I was one of the long term diehards. I probably have sold over 100 zip drives trying to help. I have installed over 50 for friends and at work. However, for the first time in 2 years I am out of the stock for one reason. I feel that the fundamentals have changed. As we all know now the company and it's stock are quite different. If IOM has some good news with earnings, the stock may go up a buck and give it up over the next few days. If there is ANY negative news the stock will probably give up between 20 to 50% of it's value. Too risky to hold into earnings anymore. I do think that Iomega has a bright future in the years to come. But I now think that it's going to have to hit rock bottom before it can start all over. It's very sad to me because I have taken it very personally trying to help these guys. I will keep my 50,000 dollar zip drive as a memento to risky investing. I do hope that everyone does well and makes a lot of money. Any that you make on IOM will be very, very well deserved because you have earned it. Good luck, Mike.
