You guys are both so wrong, and you'll find out just how much in the real near future. First you say that they are all talk, and there aren't any real products/market. Well, boys, I've visited the company, and guess what they have products and R&D people too. They also have several field tests going on in S. America (I looked at a demonstration of such a test taking place in Caraqas). The market is real, and out there (Lucent wouldn't have set up a development team if there wasn't a market). The market won't be huge in '98 and most probably won't be that huge in '99 either, utilities move much slower than igh-tech companies. However, in a couple of years the market will be huge, with demand coming from developing countries on one hand (because of electricity theft) and from the developed world (because of deregulation). The company hasn't done a good PR job in the past, and there are several dissappointed investors out there. But, you should know better than showing your emotions toards a stock (you shouldn't hate a stock, just like you must not love it). Bashing DSSI won't do you any good. You should look at the facts, and those look great right now. They weren't so good two years back, and the stock was moving higher. Now the facts are looking great, but you still bash the stock, that's too bad. Many are bashing Morgenstern for "stealing" Tower's money. Well, how do you think they built Comverge and PHD ? With their own resources of course, which they got from Tower. This fact kept the street out of these companies, and that's why we aren't getting high valuations for them, but we kept the entire stake in our hands. Now, we'll raise money for these companies and get he high valuations. Don't fear the recent decline (Cummer/Moyers and other morons are selling), in the long run, DSSI shareholders wil definately be rewarded.
