Professional help and relativism:
What is professional help? During my college years Freud and Adler were the rage. All literature, sociological problems and psychological problems had to be interpreted and studied in the light of the ego, superego and the id.
Today, the professionals are captivated with Jung's insistence on harmony with man's subconscious archetypes for mental health.
Tomorrow man will invent new fad equally interesting, but also equally false.
They are all substitutes for reality. Each culture and each man is right in his own eyes. Everything is relative. Truth is beyond the reach of man's rational mind.
Man can only see things as he is, and not as they are.
Man contains within his heart an imperfect image of a perfection he once had. He is perpetually seeking to recapture this perfection by his own imperfect efforts.
Man looks at a beautiful tree and he sees the beauty but he also sees some imperfection--lack of symmetry, or lack of this and that--and proclaims within himself, beautiful but not quite perfect.
Man sees a beautiful woman-- perfect in face and form--but then notices a small mole at the base of her nose--beautiful but not quite pergect. Man has the archetype of perfection locked within him but he can never achieve it withing his own efforts.
His Creator watches with sadness and pain as man continuously invents new philosophes and political systems that promise to be the next Utopia that will liberate mankind from their imperfection.
Hitler and the "Pure White Race" invents National Socialism as a racial solution for the redemption of mankind. Millions die as the Germans and other Europeans in the SS try to impose their "perfect solution upon mankind."
The leaders of Judaism invent Bolshevism (communism) in Russia based upon the universal economic brotherhood of men and a hatred of Christianity, and then slaughter millions as they attempt to impose their utopic dreams first upon the Russian people and then upon mankind.
Theodor Hertzl and his Jewish zealots establish Zionism in Palestine as a utopia for, first the salvation of the Jewish people and then,through them, the salvation of mankind through their Christless "messianic kingdom". Zionism has already dispossed, murdered and abused millions of Palestinians as they push to establish warpred dream; and yet the evil of Zionnism is really only getting started.

The dream of Utopia remains in man's heart imperfect and fallen heart. All of his self-efforts are recapturing this dream have led to evil caricatures of the real thing.
God has given us His Son as a sacrifice for our imperfections and sins. Through simple faith in Jesus, man is restored to his lost image as a son of God.
Gods' Words are not realtivistic ustterings by an imperfect being, but they are Words that are eternally True, and they are Words that give Eternal Life--the restoration of the image and likeness of God in man.
No philosopies, no political systems and no false religions can ever restore man's Godly humanity. God has determined in His eternal wisdom and love that Jesus would be the only cure for man's fallen and sinsful nature.
