George, Another scenario could happen this way. During a sustained market correction, congress announces the passage of allowing individuals to invest social security payments into stocks in an attempt to jump start the market.

The Thursday edition of the "Daily Quotes and Market Report" alluded to Japan announcing on April 1st something that would cause the price of gold to go up. The obvious announcement would be that they have increased their gold reserves. However it could be something else. Any ideas?

This upcoming week should be very volatile in bonds, stocks, and precious metals starting with OPEC meeting on Monday. Those mutual fund whiz kids had better load up on ant-acids this week-end.

Terry,
