Very well said. As I sit on the profit from my small long position on AOL, I too am quite puzzled by the price movement, and even more so by that of YHOO. Like you have elegantly pointed out, the average individual investors nowadays are behaving more like average consumers instead of shrewd 'money players', and investing is becoming part of their complete consumer experience. But I wonder how this translate into the price movement of AOL which has a high institutional ownership (~70% ?)...
