With the market Cap of AOL in the vicinity of 15 billion (the fully diluted market cap is probably higher), an interesting anecdote:

In reading the Barron's piece last week on some Mickey Mouse accounting going on at Disney, refreshed my memory on the fact that Disney bought ABC/Capital Cities for around 18 billion. I hope we all agree this was not a cheap price to pay! Compare this high price to the market Cap of AOL. I guess AOL is worth as much as one the largest TV networks in the world!
