RW,

I have been keeping a cumulative binary chart for quite a while now... a binary chart is merely a sum of the up/down signals from a series of indicators... the Equis site has one I use all the time. I get REALLY fancy and copy the binary waves from 5 separate indices into an Xcell spreadsheet and add them up and copy back the result to my MetaStock charts. Uncanny!

I have a theory that the reason it works so well is that all the people following TA respond to their Pavlovian dictates and the more indicators that are down, the more TA people selling!

Also, VIX is VERY close to a strong "sell-everything" signal... IMHO... and any moves over 26-27 should put it into that category.

BWDIK?

Bill
