I could offer an infinite variety of potential gods based on nothing more than faith. We could start with the hundreds of religions that are out there now and add in the thousands which went before it. It can only be described as comical the way professional religious vendors backtrack and double-talk their way out of the corners they paint themselves in and you can go back to the flat Earth, the Sun rotating around the Earth, the notion of evolution, and so on. The only thing they had were dusty old scrolls and their imaginations. Faith was the key to success. They could murder those who did not demonstrate blind faith and they did so in large numbers. It's an industry as old as prostitution but less honorable in that it's based on nothing but some man-made hogwash.
