Rod, Why do you say that is "scoff at science and technology." I was a Physics major in undergrad and maintain both a liking and respect for science and technology. Again you are weak with your words. It is not scientific to specualte that "science and technology" will produce eternal life in a '1000 years. It is simply extended dreams from the fairy tales of science fiction. You are not alone. I have seen many caught up in a world of half reality and half smoke. It is good to dream and have visions but when your dreams and visions are formed by fiction, you begin to lose touch with reality and real Science. God is about reality and truth and not about mens specualtion about fictional possibilities in the future. Again you refuse to test the Words of God but are willing to hold on tenaciously to mythse and maybes.
