>>They are a reporting company. Been around for 25 years<<

My dd shows that they have only been aroundas an internet company for, at most, three years. Their website says that they offer a COMBINED 25 years experience, which obviously can't all be, or even primarily be, internet related. The Desience subsidiary--which can't be doing much business (see below)-- has been around since 1985, but this business appears to be the tail on the KANA dog. RVision has been around since 1994; the team there seems geninuely talented--I can't find any info on their financials for 1997, and KANA mystreriously hasn't deigned to relaese any.

I can find no evidence that they are a reporting company. My search of the EDGAR database turns up no filings. The website projects revenues of about $ 1 million for 1997; we are three months into 1998, and I can find nothing on the website as to whether those revenues were achieved.

The website is unclear on certain other things. They seem to indicate that their CFO is a part-timer, who currently works full time for another unrelated company.
