Rich, re:, I get it. Anyway, enuf of the President, he has enuf
coverage.

Well, back to making money. Yes, there are plenty of 'investing for
retirement money', which sets U.S apart my Indonesia, Thailand, that
'some family' makes the money and run/hide (you maybe surprise, they
probably run/hide to U.S).

If there is no inflation, interest is low, there is really no place
to put money. That's why S&P500 is so high and KO,CL,G,... has such
a high PE. 5-10 years from now, they are mostly not expensive, for
retirement money, those are perfect stocks.

Same can not be said for high-tech(MSFT is the exception so far).
Even INTC,AMAT will lose 30-50% from time to time.

How come there is no upgrades(did I miss any) for MSFT after
MSFT plan to beat estimates for the next 2 quarters.

I learned that MSFT's deferred earning has been the secret.
What is WS thinking? What do they know that we don't? Then if
MSFT keeps going up, they have no chance to enter for the new
money. Maybe the WS guys can give us a better buying opportunity.

There are plenty of waiting for win98, especially the BOX-maker,
HDD making and MU. I think 2000 is too close for win98 to be as
successful as win95. But then it is only a pause for the whole PC
industry, waiting...

I think I'll buy at least a PII-333 this time,6G.,17in.monitor(or 19
if I made some money soon),standard multi-media package enuf for me.
Kids want monster-3D.

Well, thanks for the apology. Didn't bother me. Sometimes it's so
easy for either party to slip on communication. Everything has 2
sides and one's view depends on which side one just happen to see.

Let's see how the much anticipated 'upcoming slow-down' unfold once
the IRA's season is over.

I'm very conservative. Less than 30% in equity. So, in a very
confusing situation. Really want to get it up to 50-60%, but
hate to feel the pain of a correction.
