well thank you, scrapps.... my query, as framed, may have sounded rather naive, but what other way is there to say it? you have patiently, and essentially, illuminated the greek chorus of lament heard at some point on every discussion thread even remotely (ouch) connected to its resolution... i wonder:he who stalls last stalls best? will the last of the rbocs suffer from the (closed) fist of alternatives, i mean really suffer. will the rbocs, or one or two, allow it to get that out of their grasp? is that where we are going? i wish i knew, i really wish someone had a definitive answer SOMEWHERE.i have to believe it is not long before someone, and this is inevitable, finds that their dialing paws have been declawed ...and the internet telephony will not look back once over its shoulder at an uncooperative baby.
