Hello Chief:

I hope Florida is a little warmer than Ottawa today. The dampness can be miserable, as is the presence of umpteen politicians.

I have a question about Shorters. One of the more recent posts said that Shorts must buy back. What triggers that? Whose shares are the Shorts actually borrowing when they sell and initiate the shorting action? And, is there a set time limit after which the borrowed shares must be replaced, or must they be replaced when the shares drop to a certain percentage of the selling price? I have always not been clear on these fundamentals. Appreciate input from you or others.

Monday may be the most interesting day in a long time. Likely no news releases, but the first day of post-conference trading. Good luck all. And thanks everyone for upgrading the tone of recent posts. Reading sarcastic remarks or jibes in capital letters brings this thread down a few notches. A little humour from time to time is just great.
