I would hope Geac has enough smarts to understand that Microslop has a monopoly and that Corel has no hope in h*ll of surviving in a monopoly with their office applications. Take a look at Lotus and their office applications they aren't gaining any market share either.
Lotus understands this and is now pushing E-commerce which is Java based.

If the DOJ breaks up MS and seperates it OS from its applications which would be the only way Corel or anybody else could compete in the office application market or else Java doesn't get fragmented by MS then once again the better product should make the money. In a monopoly the better product doesn't get the lions share of the market as history has proven with MS and I don't think Geac or anybody else could compete and win against MS in the office applications area.
