The sell program in the afternoon moved MSFT by 11/16 and DELL by 3/4 in a downward direction. At the time, I was following the $TICK indicator on a one minute interval and it moved from +106 to -600. The morning sell program moved it from +300 to -899. If you trade NYSE stocks, this is a great indicator. I learned about trading on it from CyberCorp.

A move such as this will move almost any stock on the market -- it's simply a question of amplitude. If you trade NASDAQ, I would recommend the previously mentioned S&P contract...

Friday, there wasn't enough movement for my taste. But Thursday was a day I would take any day of the week. Not too fast, not to slow. Allegro non troppo...
