Dear James, remember that although we tire easily of those who are here to spit on our Lord and mock the fact that everything we can stand about human beings comes directly from adapting HIS WAYS-- and that extends also to the only bearable conditions among animals in the wild or captivity, even, that every good thing ever done was done according to HIS WORDS PER THE WAY HE SPOKE THEM--there are many people who also live with and for Jesus who are much more tolerant and can stand vomitous railing against God indefinitely.
I pray that you cease to respond to those that rip incessantly at you in words like a wild boar. Just click next and leave the job to others. We are not called to out debate the godless, by the way.
We are called to lift up Jesus, give all the benefits, and then move on, per scripture. 7 times 70 and being slapped silly for months is for the brethren to do with the BRETHREN. As in kindred, kin, neighbors, same (meaning like spirits tend to gather together in little tribes, etc.) Please check it and correct me if wrong. If I am wrong per scripture, then I have to go back to the drawing board and start a new relationship with a God I don't understand as well as the One I seem to understand.
I can always be wrong and have been many times. But not too often with things of the Lord per the Word of God the Father Himself, through the Son. It is usually too clear in meaning, and we are only in trouble when we decide for ourselves that isn't what it meant.
So, if you feel you have had enough, withdraw and just pray that those who continue fruitless word battles are doing so under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. If they are, it will bear fruit. If they are not, Jesus already warned them to shake dust and go on to the next. We can also go to next here, believe me.
The more a non-believer is cow-towed to here, whatever that means, it's just out of Kansas farmer talk, the worse the expressions slowly become. I have not seen a conversion on this thread yet.
