Wally: Bear with a bit of history.
Several companies were drawn into the UMSI
fold who had some wizardy products they needed money for to further develop.I understand some of them are
still in litigation as UMSI was going to make their dreams come true, and instead they got nightmares..
The scanners that went to Taiwan came from MHTO - one of the firms lured under the UMSI umbrella.
The MHTI scanner had an aperture (opening) of 91+
centimeters, against the average CT scanner.which has an opening of 70 cm. This new generation scanner that the Taiwan customer had ordered, would be able to export the images right into Taiwan's Treatment Planning Systems. At
least that was the promise.
But the software to realize that was never delivered nor completed.
Even at this time it would take $500,000 and up to 6 months to complete.
Needless to say, that,as current management has not been able to install much trust, anybody putting half a million
in Cole's kitty, would, IMO insist on a guarantee that such development work will be properly organized and
completed.
So to answer your question: there is an advanced product,
it could be developed, but it needs capital
and capable management.

Wally, on a personal note. I am pretty sure I replied
to all your emails.
