Hi. This is Alice. I think all of you people are going to have some explaining to do when TED gets back in town.
He let me use his SI logon in case something important came up this weekend. I do not think some of the talk on the SI is important enough to qualify for other people using their associate's logon. You all know how TED feels about misuse of Corporate resources. And, when he reads all these posts, maybe he will not have to ask me anymore why some of the expense reports have such a large number on the "miscellaneous" line. I am through covering for you people. Especially one of you who has decided to attack me personally. You know who I am talking about, Rita.
For your information, the Las Vegas trip was a benefit for the Girl Scouts. And, I got my job here as a result of spending several years getting my Masters Degree in micro-biology. As soon as we get some more openings on the 7th floor, I will be transferring. Well, as soon as TED finds my replacement, that is. He can not manage his own calendar without me. I find this job fulfilling in that way. He needs me.
I am not sure what is supposed to be happening next week, but I do know that everybody's calendars are full. The meeting in New York shows up in red on everybody's calendar, so it must be very important. The Corporate Travel Agent has been very busy, also.
The people on the 3rd floor worked the whole weekend. It seemed strange to see all those laboratory technicians in their white frocks and gas masks wandering the hallways.
I hope the neighbors around FBN Headquarters here in Sedona are not too upset about the band practice that took place in the parking lot after somebody blew out the 1,000 watt speaker in the new recording studio, and the windows shattered. I think the police were very polite when they sent in their canine patrol to explain that we could not practice without a permit. It would not have been so bad if we had not attracted so many teens to the parking lot. They did not want to leave until the band packed up their gear. That group of motorcycle riders did not help when they all rev'ed up their engines at the same time.
Anyway, I will be glad when everything settles down around here again. All of this secret talk about the new product has caused the phone to ring off the hook. I do not understand how a secret can cause so much activity. Maybe it is not as secret as TED tried to make it. I wonder if some of you are not keeping it quiet.
