I concur with much of what you say, especially the part about not changing Bill Jackson or Alomex's minds (though Alomex has softened to a degree). I think it was worth a third of your daily posting ration.
However, I look at the ongoing argument between the Mac and Windows a little differently. As a result of this argument, folks like Bob Mayo, Eric Yang, Jim Kary, Phil Lee, soup and many others have responded to the MacOS bashing with intelligent and informative retorts, often linking information to back up their position. Though I agree that the argument does get tedious at times, I for one, have learned a great many facts that support the value of the MacOS, and therefore the value of Apple as a company.
But maybe of more importance than people like me, are the lurkers that don't no squat about the MacOS, that visit this thread. This dialog could be affording them information that gives them a whole new view of the MacOS.
Glad to see you posting on this thread. I'm sorry your limited to 3, but I'm sure you'll make the most of them.
