I share Terry's interest in hearing from anyone who can validate the company's claim with the players. Other notes on this thread have mentioned the purchase of the technology. Of course, there's also the rumor that someone in Israel is contesting the ownership of the code, and will be taking the issue into court on Tuesday, March 31.

Making the shift from print technology to the world's greatest internet security technology isn't generally an overnight sort of thing. Has the CEO at DVNTF some technology magic in his pocket? Previously, I asked if anyone had any knowledge of his history with the Canadian company he reportedly started......any luck?

A quick check through some network contacts did not reveal any "senior management" roles for him at IBM, although his profile on the webpage makes reference to it. Where at IBM? How "senior"? When?

A look at the webpage for his previous company (www.cit.com) still shows him listed as a Director there, but there doesn't appear to be any software development activity noted in their portfolio. They look like a custom application development shop.....that's a far cry from developing and marketing high tech internet products. They also look like very small players in the marketplace. None of the big players that I spoke with have ever heard of them.

Terry, you asked re. SEC filings. Is there some way to check if DVNTF is delinquent in meeting this criteria? Perhaps a call to the senior MSFT Director would be worthwhile.....does anyone out there know him?

WARP 10 and Instant Publisher cost a lot of folks a lot of money.
