I couldn't possibly comment on who is
the most trusted NETA engineer, but laying
people off is not the way to make the quarter.
The severance costs keep the cash draining
for a quarter after somebody is dismissed.

If you're looking for some financial engineering
to make the numbers look good, see what is
aggregated into a 'one time charge' and attributed
to an acquisition.
