EDLF,

I'm assuming whatever money DCTC has leveraged from the SMTK shares is designated for the buyback ($5 million), switches in Europe (who knows how much), down payment on the WPC deal (I think that required $2-3 million in cash) and perhaps other things?. That does not leave much left over (if any). How much money should DCTC invest in a subsidiary it has said it would like to sell? That of course depends on what type of ROI that money could get if put in CardCall vs. other things. We'll never have an answer to that question. I would assume CZ would get paid back from the proceeds of the sale. So if he is willing to put up some of his own cash into the company he built, where is the harm (besides creating all the speculation on this board, which I was a part of and apologized for)? Considering he will likely be going with CardCall when it is sold, why would he not want to continue to build that business? I will now reserve judgement on the whole situation until all the facts are in.

In regards to my post #4082, I want to make it clear that those numbers came from 9 month cumulative cash flow statements (Jan 1, 1997 through Sept. 30, 1997 and April 1, 1997 through Dec. 31, 1997). They do not represent individual quarter cash flows. There is obviously six months of overlap in the dates, so some of the borrowed funds are included in both 10Qs. Sorry for any confusion here.
