<<<Second Opinion by Juardis T.
Well, I'm still training at the NTC, but I have played around with a couple of the historical missions. This game is very addictive, flaws and all. My experience is that there is no one omission that will keep you from successfully completing your objectives. It can be frustrating at times, I won't deny that. You need a 3dfx card and a 2d card with at least 2 MB video memory (not positive bout the 2d card, just echoing what someone else posted). If the game played as advertised in the manual, I'd give it a 9 out of 10 (for now, that opinion may change the more I play though-depends on how they laid out the campaigns). To get it to a 10, they need to add some stuff like position stats (like gunner x is 50% accurate and has 6 kills, gunner y is 70% accurate and has 10 kills, etc.), more in depth debriefs, drivers seat, topographical lines on the map, more user interface options, etc. But as it stands now, I'd give it a 7. So, it's a tough call. 90 $Aus is what, 60 US$? I'd pay that if I was confident that MPS would fix the game. As it is, I paid 50 US$ and it's a keeper, likely to stay on my hdd throughout the year, especially if multiplayer is any good.
