Hi, dexx. Thanks for this thread. I finally got my NDB account open. How about contributing a hot tip <Gggggg> Kidding, I know that must be saved for another thread.
I want to share this with everyone.
The sunset was gorgeous this evening. Given a camcorder in my car I would have climbed to the roof of my printshop and recorded it for all. However, in my minds eye for 180 degrees and in full view for 180 degrees this is what I saw:
The sky was mostly dark and forbidding with ominous clouds sweeping east on a brisk breeze. To the east I could see patches of snow high in the San Gabriels toward Mt. Wilson, the air from here to there crystal clear. To the north some final rays lit the new, green grass on Oat Mountain and to the West, oh, my Lord, the most beautiful sight of all. Layers of terraced clouds with brilliant shades of blue behind, lit by the sun to hues from pink to red to gold and silver. As the clouds moved rapidly east and the sun rapidly west, the clouds darkened, and then to the south a final flash of brilliance reflected off the mirrored monoliths of Warner Center.
