(Continuation of my post number 1797)
tgs, Sorry, the weekend was too busy (income taxes and sick kids) to allow time for SI. I'll continue my response(s) as I have time during this week. You wrote (in post number 1779):
GMTC does seem to have a problem in their corporate communications. This is the most negative commentary I've heard you make about GMTC, but I assess this to be a marvel of understatement. On this thread, I called GMTC as a great short candidate last fall and as such, it exceeded my highest expectation. I find it hard to believe that all of GMTC's stock woes resulted from poor communication, wouldn't you agree? I think the problems actually stem from foiled or delayed business plans for satellite based bingo, sour deals in the Pacific Rim and so forth. Funny, this picture (i.e., deals gone wrong) reminds me of lingering shareholder complaints about AGTI.
As to patent lawsuits. I believe that all companies involved in Electronic Bingo are now involved in patent lawsuits. Yes GMTC is involved in a patent infringement suit with BTC and FortuNet. I would suggest reading the GMTC prospectus or their latest 10Q for more information regarding these lawsuits. But certainly since you know so much about AGTI and have been willing to share every negative detail with SI readers...on this AGTI thread... you won't force us to ferret out any possible negative stuff about our major competitor? As a main distributor for GMTC, I would assume you know even more about GMTC than you do about AGTI, so why refer us to 10Q's and so forth? And regarding lawsuits, I am unaware that AGTI has any patent infringement suits filed against them. Can you verify or deny this? Also, although not a patent infringement suit, what about the shareholder suit against GMTC? Or is this a misprint:

tgs, I told you that I'm going to attempt to keep you honest.
For the benefit of all readers, I would like to point out once more that your appearance on this thread coincides with AGTI's licensing approval in Texas, with their appointment of Tom Nieman as CEO, with the new K&B agreement, etc. As GMTC's distributor in the large TX market, you stand to lose market share if AGTI begins to succeed, period. Perhaps the posts of our discussion should also be copied to the GMTC thread?
Best Regards, Hardrocker |
